Because he isn’t. I doubt whether he gets too involved himself. His administration though is patching holes, but only where it makes sense to do so. So why didn't it make sense to build it in the first place?

I don’t remember trump with a wheel barrow either ! What point are you trying to make as trump would have advisors as well. Read the previous posts and it should be clear. Biden isn’t building a wall. He is patching holes in existing stretches where to do so makes sense. A bit like putting extra bars on a window which can be accessed by a burglar unseen but not on all in the house. Those protected by other means don’t need any bars.

For the reasons I explained previously. How is it down to Trump though? Authorised by Bush, continued by Clinton and Biden.

Not started with any conviction and never completed. Trump’s wall was a completely different project. Hugely expensive but similar in one way as it too was never completed.

I trust you read the link your provided as it seems to support what I have been saying. Very expensive, only 80 miles of new wall and uncompleted. It clearly hasn’t worked either, given the way things have gone since.

That’s new to me, so thanks for posting it. It’s seriously scary and something I anticipate Trump trying to exploit. What a system! It makes first past the post seem legitimate.

Why is Trump the bad guy in this?

Simply to mark where the border exists and not an attempt at a physical barrier. Trump’s wall was on another level completely. It was a massively expensive political guesture, with little or no practical implications.
