Absolute nonsense.Everyone knows it political shenanigans. There doesn't seem to be the same energy to go after either Chirlaine De Blasio over her missing 0M or even Andrew Cuomo over his Covid BS. Both Democrats.

Not aware of either.

Perhaps because they aren’t ex Presidents expecting to run again who is alleged to have done things during and immediately after his first term that threatened the very base of democracy.

Trump is not being prosecuted because of his politics. He is being prosecuted because he is corrupt.

“Operation Lone Star”: Texas’ truck checks are part of Gov. Greg Abbott’s plan to intercept smuggled migrants and drugs as the US tightens control of its southern border. Last week, President Biden said he was expanding the physical wall in Texas."

From Robinhood Snacks today.

I thought building a wall to help control the Mexican border was one of Trump's biggest evils, yet Biden is expanding it?

It's an odd world, the world of politics.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Yeah but Biden's wall is humane unlike that nasty Trump's one. By the way odd that the media hasn't made much of it? It has been reported but not like the media coverage Trump got.

It's been reported but, so far as I can see it's not a big deal.

What is being done is not to restart the idea of an impenetrable barrier but to complete gaps in particularly vulnerable spots. Gaps that make what's already there pretty pointless on their own. In other words a thought-out, balanced and intelligent approach.

So the wall itself was a thought-out, balanced and intelligent approach because without it the border would be all vulnerable spots.

Doesn’t work like that.

There are natural barriers equally as effective as a wall.

There are places where electronic surveillance and a fast response is better.

There are some where a physical barrier is best.

The smart thinking is to know which is which. The dumb thinking is that one size fits all and that whatever Trump first thought must be right.

There were places with a physical barrier well before Trump. He just wanted to build one along the whole route. So Trump wall definitely bad. Biden doesn’t have one. His administration is doing a variety of things.

Why bad when Biden is still building it?

Because he isn’t. I doubt whether he gets too involved himself. His administration though is patching holes, but only where it makes sense to do so.
