He was 90% responsible for our goal holding off two players playing in Bentenke and then finding space and finishing. Mane and Firmino missed easy chances too - are they not top players either? Gave Trent a really hard game today. Shame he didn't see more of the ball.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Yea he was back to himself yesterday when Henderson went off as they were doubling up on him Arnold just wasn't able to boss him on his own. Seemingly a piece in the paper today kinda blames the no transfer for him on the potential takeover of the club, But hey it is the Sun ! Pinch of salt and all that.

Yes, yesterday was a timely reminder of why we like Wilf. His best game this season at Selhurst?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Just sac Wilf gets his mojo back turning in his best performance this season, I see that the gutter journalists are already linking him to bulls*** transfers away. Leave him alone, don’t make up fake news. If someone really wants him they will come and get him. He was clearly unsettled by the summer episode. Let’s not have it agiain

Let’s not have it agiain The impetus to move came from Zaha; if anything he "unsettled" himself: He choose to put himself in the shop window and there were only two clubs in the entire footballing universe that expressed an interest, and not at the price the club was asking. What a complete nonsense to try and blame anyone else for his current (bar the possible exception of last Saturday) sulk.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

I totally agree he was trying to be clever and force a move away from our club but as we all know it did not come off and in doing what he did he made himself look a right tit.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle When Wilf plays like he did today he just looks a different level to everyone else on the pitch. He looked more relaxed and didn't complain at all despite some rough treatment. If he keeps this up until January we could be well on our way to safety and even looking at a top 10 finish, as opposition defenders just can't live with him.

I totally agree with that comment as he played like he was enjoying it today and did not do his usual "Feeling sorry for himself" he played a superb game today and if he can keep it up all season we will be laughing and finish high up in the league. Well done Wilf and all the team for a great match it was so enjoyable to watch.
