Queen's speech was pretty ropy.

Tories ignored the fact that people are sick of austerity and them undermining public services. They are heading towards a spanking at the next GE. They are in a hole and they keep digging.

At least they ditched grammar schools, fox hunting, dementia tax, scrapping free school meals...

Listening to Corbyn's speech in the debate, he seems to be going even further left. Expected him to say "all power to the Soviets" at some point. Banged on about re-nationalising the railways so that they are owned by the people and run for the people. I'm old enough to remember when they were last nationalised, as one of the people who apparently owned them, all I can remember is miserable, scruffy staff telling you that you could always walk if you didn't like it, when you complained about late trains, dirty overcrowded carriages and constant fare rises.

So the privatisation has solved the problem of scruffy staff on the train telling you to 'walk'.

Don't really use trains these days, I used to commute into London from Croydon many years ago. Last used a train in December 2014 to go from Oxford to London to see the Rembrandt exhibition at the National Gallery - didn't get in, didn't know you had to pre-book! Train was clean and on time, pretty full but got a seat. Staff not officious and rude as they mostly were in the 70s. That was the last time I went to London, found it overcrowded, expensive and grubby and full of foreigners and/or 'British' of foreign heritage. Pretty depressing really, won't hurry back.

Amusing. Not the part about you not getting in.

I'm actually fully on-board with TM and the DUP alliance now.

If an Orange Man is good enough for us, then a whole bunch of them in government can only be good for the country.

Well I think Simon's head is large; always involved in espionage. (Name that tune)

You don't miss a chance do you Nick?
The 'damnable Tory Press' will publish something bad about the Labour campaign soon enough.
