Yes, misleading the House over attending a party is far more serious than misleading the House over invading a country.

'Shameful Tories caught trying to line their own pockets are on another planet'. Don't we just know it, it's a given. Who on earth would want to pay Kwarteng or Hancock £10k a day, or Johnson millions.

Nobody is under any obligation to employ these people and those who paid Tony Blair £330,000 for a 20 minute speech were not either.

And tbf, he is, the UK is increasingly authoritarian. After 5 years of Labour the raw sewage will still be there, although it will make less of a stench. Edited by steeleye20 (28 Mar 2023 3.26pm)

He is more barking than his brother, which is saying something.

And it was a priority of his to take the water industry into public ownership. Being electable, imo, looking at the British voters record, does not mean actually being any good. In fact, rather the reverse.

It is for the local party branch to choose their candidate. Corbyn represents the views of a sizable proportion of the Labour Party and probably attracts as many votes as he repels among the general electorate.

Labour do seem to way behind the Tories (with one or two notable exceptions) in the sex scandal department. Mind the Liberals are way out in front.
