The economic effect was secondary. It strikes me that Remainers want Brexit to fail and the uncertainty created causes a potential self fulfilling prophecy of economic downturn. If everyone in business keeps their head then we will be OK.
This constant denial of a democratic decision is not helpful. We all know many people voted remain just like many people always vote against the winner. Get over it.

This thread is now dangerously infected with morons who do not understand or cannot accept that the majority voted to leave the EU and now,almost 5 months since the result, are still throwing their toys out of the pram about it. I blame their parents who have obviously let their childish tantrums get them everything they have ever wanted instead of giving them a smack and sending them to bed with no tea!

They are totally entrenched in their views and are only interested in belittling those of others. They might have personality issues, perhaps a victim mentality which makes them lash out from behind their screens.They might suffer from insecurity which they are compensating for or maybe just a delusion of moral or intellectual superiority. Whatever the case, it is pointless debating with such closed minds who are likely just to hurl abuse at you as the you so often see on the BBzzzzz. Interesting that you say that.

You see I think that debating with some people is a waste of time because they have seemingly no capacity for objectivity. They are totally entrenched in their views and are only interested in belittling those of others.
