Republicans go after Biden. House of Representatives to open impeachment inquiry. I am tempted to say what's sauce for the goose... However this is simply not helpful to the political process. So far it appears that they have not uncovered a smoking gun so this is just muck raking just like the Democrats. They should have waited until they had firm evidence of wrong doing before going down this route. Impeachment is a political process not a judicial inquiry. Edited by Badger11 (12 Sep 2023 5.01pm)

Edited by Badger11 (12 Sep 2023 5.01pm) This is blatant politics which will surely backfire on the GOP as it won’t convince anyone who isn’t already convinced. Unlike Trump’s situation which has so many things alleged, with many of them being done in plain sight. As soon as he starts trying to defend those the claims of innocence will be examined and debated. It’s unlikely they will hold too much water and so the undecideds will be less likely to give him the benefit of doubt.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

There's an obvious fraction within the Democrats who are starting to convince their media that he shouldn't be running next year and they are seeding stories...true ones this time around that, that Biden has a pattern of lying and embellishment. Republicans have, of course, been pointing this out for many years..decades in cases....but it's only becoming convenient for that fraction to recognise it now. It will of course be interesting to see which side in the Democrats wins out.....Because it's obvious that Biden...like seemingly all that corrupt old guard...doesn't want to make way for the corrupt newer guard. Looks like Biden’s DOJ have found three lesser charges to indict Hunter with that distracts from his & his fathers dodgy dealings in Ukraine and China.
