Todays first download is a set by Manassas featuring Stephen Stills that was recorded at Winterland, San Fran in 1973. The quality of this is superb with the audio being ripped from a dvd of the set. I've not posted many boots by this band - as there are not many in good quality, but this is a great sounding set. If you like SS or Manassas - you will want this one... Todays second download is a set by The Donald Fagen Band that was recorded in Westbury, New York in 2006. This show has been posted before in 2010 - but I was asked for this one by a friend and thought I would use the links to repost the show. It's fantastic - a really top quality soundboard - with a top selection of tracks from Donald's 3 solo albums : The Nightfly, Kamakiriad and Morph The Cat - as well as a short dip into DF's Steely Dan file. Steely Dan are one of my favourite bands and Donald Fagen is (with Walter Becker) Steely Dan. Todays first download is a set by Chicago that was recorded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1970. For a bootleg thats nearly 45 years old this is in superb quality - really top notch sound. Only a short set of 5 songs with an intro but they are good ones - The version of 25 or 6 to 4 is incredible, with an amazing guitar solo by Terry Kath - also the band do a cover of the Spencer Davis Groups "I'm A Man". This is really great stuff and thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a recent set by The Hives that was recorded at this years Coachella Music And Arts Festival, Indio, CA on the 15th of this month - last Sunday. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a soundboard source. This is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted although I've previously posted a couple of the bands studio released albums. This is a great set that the audience seem to really like - thoroughly recommended.....
