Agree. I do believe he is not playing well but is he getting the service? No PVA has been awful. Are we playing to his strengths? No gone are the days of us being a potent counter attacking team Against the likes of Chelsea counter attacks require excellent passing and moment, today they were too good and we were well below our normal, if we played Spurs today it wouldn't have finished 4-0.

Really? What top team can you see him starting in? Arsenal, I think he wants to go there ..defensively they are a mess at the moment but as an attacking force they are scary.

They offered half of what they paid for the fella that plays on the opposite wing for the Country he plays for. You think they will spend £160 million on the 2 Ivory Coast wingers ?

Plus how come he runs faster after he easily lost a ball, than he does with the Ball.. For person who wanted to impress Chelsea.. Zero... Originally posted by CharlesPaterson

Can see Everton coming back for him and they have money to burn. He deserves to be released, he has been a fantastic servant and must be frustrated to play in a team that really is not set up to help him improve further. We need to sell in the next 2 windows or I think the value will start to really drop. At them moment we should still expect around £50m or more as on his day and in the right team he is still a fantastic player.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Time to cash in on Wilf?' by Midlands Eagle If the Arsenal bid of £70m, then I really cant understand us not taking it, unless our plan was to spend £100m a year for the next 5 years and bring in a Mourinho to take us to top 4. That was never going to happen. Wilf's attributes are that he has immense strength for a winger and good trickery from a static position but he lacks a killer instinct. I think under a Guardiola or klopp he could improve a lot, look at Sterling, but the longer he stays the worse he will get. Im pretty happy this season though. Looks like we wont be in the relegstion mix, Ayew has actually been a good signing, but for me, Benteke, Wilf, Sakho and Wickam need to go by the summer transfer window.

But a 19 year old PL-rookie had Wilf in his pocket the whole game.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Usual paper transfer roundabout today linking Wilf with a £70m return to United. I don't think Wilf has been anywhere near as good as he has been in previous seasons but he seems to have less help and less quality around him this year despite having, on paper, our best ever team. We have no composure on the ball and the amount of misplaced passes from what is a premier league team is frightening. Wilf can't singlehandedly do it all and with no other outlet it's just too much for him. Previous years we've had RLC, Cabaye, Bats and a couple of other decent players that you could see Wilf was happy to give the ball to as he thought he might get it back or something would be done with it. Now he passes to someone else and you can see the frustration boil up when it gets completely wasted so he then tries too much. He either needs to go to a better team or our squad needs at least 4 quality additions to share the load.

be careful what you wish for with your moronic comments about our best ever player. There is some s***e talked on this forum, and nobody should want to see him leave - but the thing is, when a player increasingly looks like he doesn't want to play here at all and puts in far, far lesser performances every week than we know he can deliver, it kinda forces you to sell up, doesn't it?
