another example of how anyone can publish any old sh*t on the internet. Give it a fancy font and layout and it will look nearly convincing. Absolute cock from start to finish.

It also says,.."Many English people are racist and don't like black people".

A masterclass in how to stereotype people. Nevermind the fact a lot of English people are also black.

I disengage, I turn the page.

Well this is great in my opinion.
Whether P Diddy or Mckenzie actually put the money on the table or not (preferably they do) it will make any interested parties very twitchy if they want the club. This latest deadline might just actually mean something as once one party has shown proof of funds its "put up or shut up (and go away)" time.
BG said only bids will be considered that are lodged before the deadline so that they can identify the best bid, afford them prefered biddr status and move he proces along.
I really am starting to believe that we may actually have some good and confirmed news very soon although I am sceptical about Mckenzie's abilities as a businessman. He hasn't even got the money together yet and he's already telling anyone that'll listen that he'll be spending £100m plus on the club over the next few years. Golden rule in business Winston: You DO NOT EVER tell your rivals or competitors how much you have to spend/invest/lose.
Its too much to hope that a Harvard educated multi millionaire businessman who has made money and a success out of every venture he has got involved in would buy Palace but I live in hope that this could come to something.
Even if the P Diddy thing doesn't come to anything it will have served an excellent purpose if the story is instrumental in driving the interested parties out of the woodwork.

Bit surprised you bought into this story, when you went to his office on Thursday, was he in there or not!!! and there's been nothing in the media that he's landed in the UK, if he had it would be just like a rash, "all over the Tabloids".

Quote According to today's Sun he is now in direct talks

Diddy’s a really big player
Published: Today

CRISTAL PALACE'S playas' lounge has moved one step closer to its unveiling at the Selhurst Park ground.
P DIDDY was locked in talks with Phil Alexander, chief executive of the footie club, on Thursday night - thrashing out a possible takeover.

The multi-millionaire rapper now knows exactly how much the skint club in south-east London will cost and is in contact with their administrators.

Diddy - real name Sean Combs - is expected to come back with an offer this weekend.

Palace face a tricky trip to Blackpool today, the first match since I broke the Diddy story.

The Championship side are seriously in danger of relegation but the takeover does not hinge on their survival. A source said: "Diddy wants to own Crystal Palace - no matter what division they might be in next season.

"He identifies with the club and feels they have real potential.

"If they go down to League One, he will ensure it's a brief stay."

To add to the above post.
Since when does Phil Alexander have the authority to discuss any takeover, that falls solely to Brendan Guilfoyle as the only legal representative of the club.

As said before, its nice to speculate and its fun to dream but until something is actually confirmed by way of an actual quote I'll struggle to believe it.
Alistair Stewart warning viewers on the news at ten that this next report contains flash photography before being shown a press conference with P Diddy sitting in between Phil Alexanda a Brendon Guilfoyle would just about convice me.
I'll not be holding my breath till it happens jst yet though

Winston McKenzie used to live opposite us in Sunnybank, South Norwood. He had a small flat and owned a Jag that he couldn't afford to run, so he used to just sit inside it and listen to the radio. On this basis, I want Puff to takeover please.

Sounds like the classic small-time Charlie wanna be a big-time Charlie syndrome. No thanks!!

The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp

And even if he's only fronting a consortium, what pony would make him their front man? I sincerely hope this tyre kicker does not sidetrack the administrators from the rather serious business of saving our club.
