P DIDDY was locked in talks with Phil Alexander, chief executive of the footie club, on Thursday night - thrashing out a possible takeover.

Well this is great in my opinion.
Whether P Diddy or Mckenzie actually put the money on the table or not (preferably they do) it will make any interested parties very twitchy if they want the club. This latest deadline might just actually mean something as once one party has shown proof of funds its "put up or shut up (and go away)" time.
BG said only bids will be considered that are lodged before the deadline so that they can identify the best bid, afford them prefered biddr status and move he proces along.
I really am starting to believe that we may actually have some good and confirmed news very soon although I am sceptical about Mckenzie's abilities as a businessman.
