I agree, the number of trans would be less if we don't count the men with male tackle who just like wearing frocks and hanging out in female changing rooms and toilets.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Liz Truss’s policies do not fill me with much confidence. Her backers could argue the policies will work in the short term. The issue is the racking up of more and more debt for another generation to pay for and more PM’s to deal (be hamstrung) with, or just borrow another £100-500 billion. Why not? On the other hand we’ve got stagflation here and the solutions are far from obvious and as always there will be a downside, whether that be certain monetary/economic variables or socioeconomic groups. 2 years to sweeten the Ele.ctorate is a long time, but then again those in power are trying to, or know they have to shield everyone from starting to question Ukraine. How many years is this forecasted for? The narrative has been dominated by those in agreement for the Ukraine war to continue to…. no conclusion or no conclusion that enables the majority of people to return to where they’ve expressed they want to return to, rather than hope and beg for a spare room for the next 1-7 years.

This morning the bbc were drooling, as they do, over the inclusive front bench. However what Truss fails to appreciate is that most of those in Electorate Land who share that view do not vote Tory. The Red Wall turned blue to get brexit done. Not because they had ideological reasons to reverse creeping federalism, or whatever, but because they hated EU nationals coming over here taking all our jobs and women etc. Do they sound like the sort of folk who will applaud a PC cabinet, especially if their kids are out of work and they can't pay the leccy bill? The next election is Labour's to lose... oh... hang on...

The way Britain chooses its leaders is “far from democratic”, says Putin, a day after Liz Truss replaced Boris Johnson as prime minister. In his first public comments on Truss’s appointment, the Russian president alluded to the fact she was chosen in a leadership ballot by members of the Conservative party, not by the whole country. “The people of Great Britain don’t take part, in this instance, in the change of government. The ruling elites there have their arrangements,” he told an economic forum in Vladivostok.
