In my humble opinion, the HF made a calculated decision not to continue as before on the basis that their support would be missed by the club, giving them the leverage to get what they want. The narrative appears to be that the HF have thrown toys out of pram by their actions, forced the hand of Steve Parish, got what they desired and as a result forced out loyal and long-standing season ticket holders and this whole matter has proved very divisive amongst our fan base. Or they simply proved their point. Their influence has been seen to be far greater than I think any of us had realised.

I just didn’t like some of the songs, the police escorts they could’ve broken rather than waited for, things like that. But a lot of that is young football fan groups anyway. They act differently when there’s no police protection. Most of them do. The black clothing has never bothered me. As annoying as many view it, I now also think the drum is necessary in all seater stadia to create an atmosphere. The out of time chanting proves that and means people stop and it fizzles out compared to with the drum when certain songs (not SE25 and la la la la Crystal Palace) don’t.

The Taylor report intended it to be, but it isn’t, and it can be safe without sitting still on your hands, or with some clappers in your hands.

"Forced out", sonny Jim. Forced out. As of yet we haven't been "shifted" anywhere. They don't know where they're shifting us to yet. They've not worked it out. 400 seats in a ground with 92% season ticket renewals isn't an easy one to fix, poor loves. And I may sit in E Block but I don't yet have a "thermos and blanket". Or a prawn sandwich. I don't blame the HF for this, there's only one man to blame, the first CPFC chairman to drive a wedge through Palace fans.

I don't personally know any of the HF or any of the fans that may be displaced by the current initiative. What I do know is that our fans have never been noisier nor the atmosphere better at Selhurst since the HF started doing their thing. They are currently greatly missed, although last weekend's effort to organise fans in the Arthur was fairly good. When I watch videos such as this I'm very proud of what the fans have done, and I'm proud to be associated with this club. I've been going to Selhurst since 1967 and what the HF have achieved over the past few years is better by miles than anything previously. The displays are excellent and would not have happened without the HF, even though many others participate, obviously. So I can see a great future ahead once the HF are relocated into the middle of the lower Holmesdale, as it's fair to assume that the displays will only get bigger and better. I think it's crazy to say that the HF are an embarrassment, other fans are just jealous of what we have (when it's good). Yes, I do feel sorry for the fans that need to move to allow this development to happen, and the club needs to do everything it can to accommodate them wherever they wish to go, but nobody is forcing them out, just asking them to move. Or they can stay and join in with the HF.
