I agree, as soon as we get eddie we'll start climbing up and they'll start falling back down

All I hope that if it is Eddie Howe that we fans give him a chance and not be constantly on his back and clamouring for a change if things don't go as well as we hope. It won't be the end of the world if we go down as Steve Parish has admitted previously. Give him (or whoever it is) the rest of the season to make his mark to build for the future. He will be our future if we give the lad a chance.

To be fair I think if the new manager, whoever that may, is up to the job, then the fans will give him a chance especially given the persistent positive support for Burley up to the end when common sense predicted the eventual outcome alot sooner than it happened. End of the day this is a results buisness and anyone who can turn this sinking ship about will get my wholehearted suppport.

I know there has been a few afcb fans on here, but listen to some of their comments on the cherries site. Palace is not a step up for Eddie? come on come on, we have been subjected to so much of that in our time and even in our current sittuation we are a much better and bigger proposition that perhaps a few cherries realise.
With a successful team, a good buzz around selhurst, this club rocks. We are capable of being a mid table premier league club for sure. I have seen us play the likes of Bolton, Blackburn, Birmingham,s West brom,s and alike over the last 20-30 years.

If Eddie, could, get this club going again his CV would speak volumes. If he could do it here he could easily be moving on to a bigger club than our selves. That is only likely to be a club in the Top half of the premier league.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for him to come and prove himself further and who knows in 5-10 years he could just be linked with much bigger jobs than Palace leaving our fans in your predicament, we however are used to it.

So come on Eddie, come and join us, regardless of what happens im sure you would have the support and patients (for a change) of the majority of Palace fans.

onwards and upwards, live everyday as if its ya last

I'd respect him for turning it down. Poaching other clubs managers mid-season leaves a bad taste. That said, probably not as bad taste as being relegated would.
