I don't know how the tories can be incompetent on every issue. 'Asylum seeker hotel bill 'to hit £25 BILLION in 5 years due to Tory bungling'. Actually I do.

The conservative party are deliberately creating a new industry. The cause of illegal immigration, the profit being made by criminal gangs, has not, and will not, be addressed by the tories. They need immigration, it plays to the prejudices of the voters and obscures the disastrous state of the country today, caused by them.

I don't think most people need persuading when it comes to illegal immigrants. Especially when coach loads turn up at your local hotel.

But aren't the all fleeing war-torn countries?

Tory bungling or lefties wanting them all to be allowed in? I suppose we could give them all their own house, at tax payers expense. When taxes rise to finance this, would you be happy about this?

Certainly won’t be addressed by Labour. Aren’t the Tories trying to address it but Labour putting obstacles in the way?

This is a deliberate, and probably illegal, policy of cruelty to vulnerable people designed to whip up feeling before an election. Does anyone think it will be successful? How, because it does not even refer to the cause of the problem, the profits made by the criminal gangs, they must be rubbing their hands in glee. Still no safe and legal route it just plays into their hands.

I think it more effective however to point out your employment of confirmation bias here. You present as desperately seeking evidence to hysterically support a predetermined belief in the world and it’s inhabitants being a certain way so as to justify your ludicrous and unstable behaviour. Congratulations on finding it. The comments to Glazier was weird and basically appeared to insult him and his kid. It's easy to end up unintentionally demeaning decent people just because it's the done thing or a pile on. It says an awful lot about this site that both he and someone actively encouraging physical attacks on 'all of these immigrants' are both given a yellow card. There is little unstable or ludicrous about drawing a view on what is pulled up and what isn't. It's just as glib to pretend that means nothing.
