Suspect now that my own prefered dream-team of RLB and Richard Burgon ain't going to happen and Starmer is going to stroll it. Just think. The Labour Party led by a white, male titled man representing a London seat. That is a real leap in the dark for them. Whatever you might think of Labour, its members know what they like in terms of leaders. Taking risks, being edgy, reflecting the increasingly cosmopolitan nature of modern Britain. FFS, I am blacker than Starmer. Rather looking forward to the internal bloodletting that is about to take place. Could make for a pleasant distraction. Edited by Matov (02 Apr 2020 10.44pm)

Ironic really. Corbyn's last night as Labour leader and we have mass unemployment, huge Government spending and a severe crackdown on civil liberties. Like he won an 80 seat majority back in December, rather than getting spanked. Must be the most bittersweet of moments for him.
