Semantics dear boy. Houses are being built all over the place but how can you resolve a problem that keeps increasing? The only answer is to reduce immigration. The alternative is to have a country which ultimately becomes one giant conurbation. It's only a small plaster on a major wound and it's not the answer. EU Immigration or no EU immigration our population is destined to hit 70million by 2035.

How far people will go to deny the obvious. Just amazing. Old people will die, trust me. It is the ones not born yet that are the problem. Single person households caused by the breakdown of the family unit can be blamed partly on the liberal left attitudes. Sometimes seemingly outdated ideas were created for a reason. Second home owners are a symptom of the prosperity that this country enjoys. We need to start worrying about tomorrow not remaining in denial.

Well His Honours got a point here on increase of population but I think the tories target of 100,000 is not unmanageable but they have never made any effort to achieve it. Mrs May was the Minister and Cam was aware each year so why???? In Croydon where I am immigrants do not want excessive immigration either. Any refugee or immigrant is a human being of course. Immigration quotas are being reduced in EU in response to the voting actually some countries have caps already others have immigration holidays etc. Provided you agree in principle to free movement these things are perfectly negotiable or else it seems countries will reduce their intake anyway.

Sorry I didnt see your reply. Yes I mean everybody should have a home - this is 2016 why not and hopefully a surplus of homes. Immigration is a separate matter the tories have failed to meet their target of 100,000 each year its actually 300,000 they have to put the matter right no idea why not. It is not illegal for any country to have its own immigration policy there is no enforcement except fines which we would not pay surely in the present circumstances. Like Hungary you just have to do it. IMO of course. It is not a separate matter. Yes the Tories have failed to keep to their target it's true and that is in part because of the EU. That is a primary reason why people voted leave.

Wonder what the figures are since the Brexit vote for immigration and how they compare with the EU. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if their quotas had taken effect and their intake had reduced whereas the UK has increased. Brainless Brexit.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |
