The clown Democrats voted to censor Robert Kennedy Jnr on a hearing on censorship to which he had been invited to speak at. Thankfully enough republicans voted them down. [Tweet Link]

Anyone who sees the edited and legally overseen mainstream media as a greater threat to our democracy than the unedited free for all of social media, with its capacity to be directed by malign influences, both from home and overseas sources, needs their head examined. Not all the MSM is trustworthy. There are some very doubtful players in the mix, but there's a lot of it and it's far from all the same, despite the efforts of some to suggest it is. Some social media is responsible, but a lot is not. It allows the spread of falsehoods and conspiracy theories without any kind of objective verification. This is not healthy. Free speech might be precious but when your love of it is being used as a weapon to hurt you it is time to reflect on whether you need to put some conditions on that love.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Agreed I can think of one broadcaster who just takes the word of a senior banker and doesn't bother to follow up to see if that person is telling the truth or spinning to protect their organization.
