You lost the election and Brexit and Trump is up for another term so suck it up comrade. This is what the profession was saying nine months ago. Like I said, we started out already badly weakened and now have to catch up. Hopefully we shall manage that but people will already have died needlessly

Instead of whingeing try getting behind the government for the good of the nation at a time of crisis. Everyone except Corbyn and some of his acolytes appear to be accepting this. The Labour mayor of Manchester is a beacon of sense in all his statements on LBC radio. The government is doing its best so try being constructive for a change.

I am project managing a life and death response at the moment. We couldn’t get PPE, no tests, can’t move out anyone if they get sick, very high mortality rate for our age group. It didn’t have to be this way and I ain’t happy.

Doesn’t mean I can’t criticise why this happened does it. However I could not let the assertion ‘handled brilliantly by the cons’ slide by. For example we were offered 5,000 ventilators but dithered until they were gone. Handled brilliantly? Edited by Mapletree (29 Mar 2020 12.19am)

I would hardly accuse the government of not working hard on this problem. The kits will come as fast as they come.
