To be fair to him, Wilf was the only player on our side today to have a go, it doesn't help when the rest of them offered little help. We did create opportunities didn't we and we did put players forward, everyone needs to re-watch the game and count the amount of times Spurs broke up our attacks because they did it many many times and that frustrates the hell out of players and it demoralises them ..when the ref brings back play and then allows a free-kick with all the Spurs players sitting nicely in position it destroys confidence and energy also the Spurs players are individually miles more talented and everyone understands that surely.

Chelsea still being touted as a possible destination come January but that could be because a part swap deal for Michy is seen as an option. And with cash on top that could meet Parish’s valuation. I thought Zaha was ok against Spurs. Not much more he could have done under the circumstances. He played very well I thought the few times he managed to actually get away without being fouled.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle That would be a good deal for us. Also thought he was ok but did some of his better work tracking back into midfield. Ideally, we want him to be in and around the opposition penalty area. Originally posted by NEILLO

Michy doesn't hold the ball up that well so doesn't bring the midfielders into the game in the box. I would rather do a part ex for RLC and then dump Benteke Sorloth and Wickham and replace those three with two strikers in the summer along with a right back and left back (although I would prefer the defenders to come in January). We also need a similar player to Wilf to cover that wide position. Well, thats about £100m, I've just spent, shame it aint ever going to happen.

Were it not for Palace, Wilf would be in the Berahinho etc. League. If/when he does move, id highly anticipate him fading into some kind of obscurity. I’d disagree with anyone who thinks differently.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
