Agreed. You would think they have to pay any sell on clause. If he is a success, who cares about his contract.

He looks a very promising player with a good range of attacking skills and I’ll be delighted if he signs.
I do have a concern how Hodgson will involve him as Eze doesn’t track back and at the moment lacks the defensive ‘awareness’ that Hodgson demands of his midfield players.
If Hodgson persists with 4-3-3 I don’t believe he’ll trust him in a midfield 3 so it could mean he plays in a front 3.
If he plays 4-4-2 I could see him tucked in on the left as he did with RLC.
I just hope he gets a chance and is not just seen as an option from the bench.
