If it’s any consolation people who get banged up for that sort of thing don’t get an easy ride, or certainly didn’t use to. The blokes in there have mothers and grandmothers and don’t look too kindly on anyone hurting them.

Unfortunately the people who say the police don't care about black lives are sometimes the ones that won't co-operate with them. This is either through fear of reprisal or because they prefer to play politics with other peoples lives.

Those who are brave enough to speak out are often ostracised by their own community.
