We need a young manager prepared to build from the ground up because: 1. SP isn't going to pay £30m for Sahko 2. Cabbaye is offski 3. Now Sam's gone, I'm wondering if Wilf might go too

Think we might be missing the obvious regarding Monk. Silva had a meeting with Hull chairman to tell him he is off and the next day Monk (A manager generally thought not quite good enough for the Prem) resigns.....We are not the only club looking for a manager I reckon Monk is off to Hull, Sunderland or possibly Middlesbrough (The later unlikeyly it prob going to be Pearson for Boro)

I dont have a good answer for you. But given whats available if its not Mancini the rest are all just as suspect. Dont want Roy, nor Raineri, not convinced about Silva-out of whats available who would you say is clearly more worth taking a chance on? Or who is less of a chance? You don't have an answer, but think Monk is suddenly going to be a great manager. Championship level at best.

They're reviewing his position which sugests they're not valuing him, but he did a decent enough job there this season and if he was allwed to build who knows where he could take them. I'd definitely take a punt on him.
Cynic or realist? It's a fine line! |

Still seems to be Silva although he is set to decide between us and Watford. Watford appear to be offering a little more in terms of a financial package. Parish spoke with Dyche's agent last night but Parish doesn't think he will attract players and we may lose Wilf. Mancini has not been considered and not sure why he was favourite at one stage. Monk quitting is a curve ball and I don't think it would be him over Dyche or Silva. Last I heard is it is still Silva and he rejected Porto yesterday afternoon and resigned from Hull. If Parish likes Silva, he will be in charge. This is just what I have been told and thought I might share as we all hopelessly look through social media hoping against hope we learn of the new manager. Don't bother asking me for the source. They've been right for the last 2 days. I had Warnock at 50/1 last time we were in this situation. Take it or leave it.
