The irony is, this is exactly what the destructive part of this kind of person wants - kind of the middle-class version of the same syndrome that motivates people to go on Jeremy Kyle and air their dirt in public.

Reminds me a bit of those documentaries about Geri Halliwell or Elton John.

Don't think Big Brother is to blame though, more a symptom than a cause.

...we must expand...get more pupils...so that the knowledge will spread...

I'd never seen or heard of it before I was aimlessly flicking the channels last year, but had the same feeling within 30 seconds of seeing it for the first time. It's just wrong on every level.
