I would rather have an older, somewhat forgetful man who takes advice, and is compassionate, as President than an older, somewhat forgetful man who doesn't take advice and has no compassion. Compassionate? He's supposed to be the president, not a priest!

So odd in fact that I smell a rat of a co-ordinated campaign against the BBC because I just don't think the majority of people think like that. Many don't think about it at all. The BBC just is for most people. The hard left thinks the BBC has a right-leaning bias. The hard right a left-leaning one. Most who care enough think it is neutral. As do I.

The BBC are shockingy biased but not as bad as ITN. Their vitriol toward the Tories is beyond belief. You are a disingenuous person Wisbech and that is me being as polite as I can.

Without the ability to feel human emotion their decision making lacks the understanding necessary to judge how it will impact those who have to live by it. And that failure is very evident in Trump.

I suspect therefore you are in no position to judge this with any degree of objectivity. Just visit a few really leftish sites. You will boil over with the opinions offered but if you manage to find how they feel about the BBC then you will realise I am absolutely correct. I don't expect you to accept that. People from your political perspective don't.

Everyone has different needs and are impacted differently by different actions. You cannot please all the people all of the time.

With Trump it's the case of saying something he knows will appeal to the racially amped up element of his base but with enough plausible deniability embedded in. With the reporter, they clearly want him to say something that can be considered racist and being that Trump does frequently blame China, it could be that they what got they sought.

A leader should have sympathy, not empathy because it leads to distorted judgement. Lots of research has been done on this.
