For 10k! Just think how that will make your life so much better when these briefs could be helping someone who needs the outcome . That's being handled by my MP, not the lawyers. These are other matters in which I am a witness in one, and a defendant in another. The latter being a fraudulent attempt by someone to get money from my insurers after a car accident by claiming imaginary personal injuries.

That has taken years for you to disclaim and I agree with you defending that. Why all the cloak and dagger about what it’s for as ambulance chasing lawyers need reeling in.

I represented myself, cancelled my insurance and had the case thrown out of court. Quite an experience.

What's your defence - "I can't possibly be wrong"? It was a minor accident when wing mirrors touched each other on a narrow lane. He was driving much too fast for the road and didn't slow to pass carefully. We stopped to examine any damage and he approached me where I was parked and got aggressive when I suggested it was his fault. He is now claiming, via a "no win, no fee" solicitor that I drove into him. This is a lie. I don't know the amount claimed but my insurers have briefed a Barrister so it must be substantial. Medical records have been obtained, which show previous injuries, and a countercase alleging fraud has been threatened. If it goes to Court it will no doubt turn on who is the most convincing witness.

I reported the accident both to the Police and my insurers and thought no more about it. My car had suffered no damage, although I was intimidated by a much younger, burly guy who got very aggressive. More than 6 months later the personal injury claim arrived. Everything is being handled by the insurers, who have passed it to their Solicitors, who have briefed a specialist Barrister with whom I have spoken. As a result of that the insurers decided to threaten an action claiming fraud. For which the other Solicitors would be a party to the case.

Durham was interviewed in Congress yesterday. He literally said the FBI did not have legitimate evidence to start the costly Russiagate investigation. There was nothing there . Once again, the FBI have not refuted what he said. Reading between the lines, in my view, he reached agreement with them not to not charge major intelligence figures if they accept the report's findings. The whole thing was a sham. If there is anyone still out there that still believes this nonsense pushed by blue anon conspiracy theorists all the way through the Trump presidency then watch Jimmy Dore's video of Durham being questioned at Congress. Edited by Stirlingsays (23 Jun 2023 1.18am) Yes, you watch it. Then read this, which gives the other side of the story, and decide which is true. Pay particular attention to the final paragraph:- Then, if you have time watch the whole interview, which lasts 2 1/2 hours rather than a cherry-picked 10 minutes by an agitator feeding the mouths of the right hungry for anything to support their prejudices:-

So you are saying Durham is a liar and the report is a book of lies.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
