As always we await the list of approved sources. Beyond the BBC of course. Why? This thread is about the BBC.

Personally I'm totally sick of hearing the phrases 'smash the gangs', 'fully costed, fully funded', 'Tory chaos', 'crashed the economy', 'my father was a toolmaker' and just for balance, 'no plan'. Labour have continually insisted that their plans are fully costed without needing any tax rises yet when a journalist asks them "what about inheritance tax or capital gains tax or some other tax the Labour man waffles on about not having to raise income tax, NIC or vat yet not one journalist has asked the question and insisted on a yes or no answer

Don’t rule out fuel duty rises as well.

I never watch the mainstream channels for news. They are a joke. Given the awards GB News wins years running, perhaps the definition of 'mainstream' will have to be broadened. Personally I'm totally sick of hearing the phrases 'smash the gangs', 'fully costed, fully funded', 'Tory chaos', 'crashed the economy', 'my father was a toolmaker' and just for balance, 'no plan'. I've already voted. Bring it on. Awards won because your own viewers vote for you whilst viewers of others don’t even know they exist, are about as valuable as a pile of dog poo. Which is also a good description for one of their past presenters who used their channel much as Trump used the Apprentice to raise his profile. At least he seems to have one vote in the bag. I too use poo bags when walking my dog.

[Link] No, this is a good move showing solidarity with women. Now wait for the trans backlash that they are not being represented! (as an aside, try and catch the episode of W1A where a trans bloke appears on Match of the Day as a pundit...even Linekar can't fathom the situation out).
hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

£53 charging at home but I could cut that down by using off peak electricity. That means having a smart meter fitted which I am loathe to do

I presume Starmer is keeping and raising the licence fee. The BBC can't hide its joy.
