The west isn’t “in” Ukraine! It is providing support to a relatively small country which has been invaded by a much bigger neighbour, who are solely responsible for causing all the death and destruction. Without that support the death and destruction could easily have been even worse and threatening to spread further.

Just like we're supporting Yemen.

We aren’t. We are attacking the rebels who are attacking shipping, but are not involved in the war that their government is fighting, with Saudi support, against them. The rebels are another Iranian proxy, just like Hamas and Hezbollah.

There’s a surprise. Spiked the online magazine that routinely defends far right figures, like Katie Hopkins, defends Farage.

By failing to moderate his language Farage handed Putin golden propaganda on a plate.

He may not be a signed up apologist but he is as harmful.

That's the way. First line of defence is to attack the source.

If it’s relevant then it’s necessary. They defended against something that wasn’t being suggested. Not by me at least!

As always we await the list of approved sources. Beyond the BBC of course.

Rubbish.
Boris Johnson said virtually the same thing in 2016.

You are afraid of Farage. He tells the truths that you always try to obscure.

I used to like watching Daily Politics whilst having my lunch but I've got fed up with the way that they are trying to keep matters like the so called betting scandal in the public eye by bringing it up every day.

Every time Jo Coburn mentions betting I immediately switch to GB News as they seem to have more of an idea on what the public want to hear about just before a General Election

I never watch the mainstream channels for news. They are a joke.

Given the awards GB News wins years running, perhaps the definition of 'mainstream' will have to be broadened.

Personally I'm totally sick of hearing the phrases 'smash the gangs', 'fully costed, fully funded', 'Tory chaos', 'crashed the economy', 'my father was a toolmaker' and just for balance, 'no plan'.

I've already voted. Bring it on.

Afraid of Farage? Don’t be ridiculous!

I am appalled by the growth of populism and Farage is just its face in our country. He is typical of the genre, offering visions of impractical solutions to intractable problems from a position in which he has never once had to deliver anything. He is the ultimate vender of green grass politics. His biggest failure being Brexit, the disaster it has become now conveniently blamed on others.

That the right, and the left, need to have their voices heard is something I agree with. So I not in the least afraid of him. I want to see his ideas exposed and shredded by better arguments.

I, like many I think, don’t pay any attention at all to election broadcasts, news, manifestos or anything else. It’s all bs. Window dressing which will be thrown away next Friday. We know we will get a Labour government, who will inherit an impossible situation but for which they will get the blame in short order.

This GE is done and dusted. It’s what happens to the Tories in the next 5 years that’s really important.
