Was it a back heel? Wan Bissaka made a clean tackle on him but the ball fell to van Aanholt. But Zaha made the run into the box to help create the goal

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle There's still mixed message on this subject from Parish which must be confusing for Zaha, in particular if the potential terms of his exit are not set out in contract.

Hodgson, on the other hand, gave an interview to Radio 5 where he said that the reason that Zaha wanted to join Everton was simply ‘Money,’ nothing about joining a top club. We’re left ,on the evidence of this season so far, with a disillusioned player. I can sympathise with Zaha as it can't be easy struggling through life on only £130,000 per week

I can sympathise with Zaha as it can't be easy struggling through life on only £130,000 per week He may have trouble understanding that the buying club have to buy and pay all players. Everton may be willing to pay him £200k per week but they didn’t bid more than £52 million. It’s the whole package that gets a deal done, not just the wages. I’m so bored with him and it all now I want him sold when we can replace him. I don’t have that excitement or anticipation when he gets the ball now either. ‘Just do something’ is more how I think now and probably have done before all this, apart from the on month period in April/May when he got into gear and Roy wasn’t playing for 0-0.

I know what you are saying but there are two sides. The player is interested in the package salary, bonuses and advertising rights etc plus he may be interested in buying clubs chance of silverware and their location. Would Zaha go back to Manchester where he was so unhappy? possibly money talks. SP interview says little we didn't know already if we get right money and replacement he can go. The right money is North of £80 million plus add ons, the payment schedule is also important to us. Our major problem is our cashflow wages v income so a sale that included a loan deal with aright to buy will always be of interest. Thats why I see Chelsea as his most likely destination. They can afford the money and they need him. he can stay in London, get high wages and be a regular first team player. They have players like Bats we would like who are surpless to their requirements. they are clearly under a transfer ban at present. But if we were to get Bats on loan in January with no loan fee and Chelsea paying wages with us having obligation to buy at end of season if still in EPL at around £30 million. Zaha to join Chelsea at end of season for an agreed fee and agreed payment schedule for both Zaha and Bats. This does not worsen our cashflow situation as we can not take on another high earner till Zaha goes

I'm not so sure that cashflow would be an issue in the sale of Zaha or indeed any other player as once a contract of sale is signed then the club has an asset that they can borrow against if payment is to be made over a period

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle You probably know but Everton saying ‘we can afford to pay you £200k per week’ doesn’t make them any better or richer than someone who can pay him less but pay a higher transfer fee. Although this is fairly obvious and said without saying it in your post, I do get the feeling that Zaha and team of bro’s probably have difficulty understanding this or just don’t want to. Well they need to now.
