Todays first download is a set by Elton John that was recorded in Tokyo, Japan in 1971. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few bootlegs by Elton over the years - but this is the earliest of the lot. This was recorded just as Elton was hitting the big time after the release of the single "Your Song" which did well Worldwide and made EJ the superstar he is. Todays second download is a set by Black Sabbath that was recorded at the Apollo Manchester in 1989. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard. Some classic tracks by Sabbath are played on this one - but there's no Ozzy. Sabbath without Ozzy ain't Sabbath. It's a good boot, but with only one original Sabbath member on it - Tony Iommi. The full line up is... Tony Iommi, Tony Martin, Cozy Powell, Neil Murray and Geoff Nichols. One for Sabbath fans...... Todays first download is a bootleg by Elvis Costello that was recorded on his european tour of 1986. This is a top sounding boot with the audio being taken from the soundboard. This was originally an italian silver cd boot, but this has been remastered and and cleaned up to sound really top notch. Some classic tracks on this one by Elvis C. including "Watching The Detectives" "Accidents Will Happen" and "Olivers Army" being played. This is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Taste that was recorded in Basel, Switzerland in February 1970. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and remastered. Bootlegs by Taste are quite rare - so I grabbed this one as fast as I could. According to my files this is only the second bootleg by Taste that I've posted. The band were formed by legendary guitarist Rory Gallagher when he was just 20 years old - the band made an album but soon split as RG went solo.... this is a great show and is thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by Chickenfoot that was recorded in Dusseldorf, Germany in January of this year. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a soundboard dvd rip. I've posted a few boots by this band since they formed as the latest "Supergroup" a couple of years ago. They have now released 3 albums. This is a great show with the band really on top form - especially Joe Satriani on guitar. If you like Chickenfoot then this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a demo by Kiss that was recorded in 1973. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from studio tapes. The demos consist of 5 tracks - with 3 of them having alternate takes included. This is great stuff and one of the earliest Kiss boots I've seen. If you like this band - this is a must have....
