Well if he wants to go, then bye bye, enjoy sitting on the bench or on loan next year when chelsea buy another 15 players.
Sometimes I set out for Ludlow |

Which I understand Palace got him to sign a new contract with changes. Yes and that's what Ambose got so wrong and many of his followers believed because they wrongly thought he was ITK!!

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The Lewis Hall loan seems to have stalled. Is it because Chelsea are loaning us Olise back for the season ? Then Palace can at least claim we didn't lose both Olise and Zaha in the same window...

Are you an SP lackey you always defend mistakes. If you can't understand this you are not very bright.

When Olise arrived at Palace as a skinny little fellah with a bad back and started playing for the juniors, that £35m release clause looked like a wild dream.

Any reasonable person would have thought it entirely unlikely that someone who still works for and is paid by Palace would completely make something up on national radio? This is not following someone, this is looking at the probability of truth and considering it such. You make him sound like a religious zealot who people have erred in listening to.

I don't see anything happening. Parish is too smart to make it official (we need Chelsea), and also I don't believe it would go anywhere, Firstly, a release clause gives the player the right to leave anytime for a set price. So long as this is secured by Palace, we haven't been short changed as we set the price with Olise. I think it more likely that Olise and his agent set the release clause on a take it or leave it basis

I am also of this opinion. I was never going to say anything against Olise whilst he was very much here but what I think was optimistically viewed as a brooding mystique about him was just an arrogance and discontent. Serious Anelka, 'Le Sulk' vibes. And don't get me wrong, I bought into the 'he's a character' narrative too. I have this thought of a young man who has been told he's the most talented and beautiful in the world too often, and too many times, by his own mother. That's fine so long as he's performing for our team but at a club like ours such a player is only ever going to feel that they're doing us a favour just by being here. I imagine there's feeling in his camp that a move to Chelsea was an inevitability hence we were only ever a somewhat laborious stepping stone. I am petty enough now to hope he plays 6 games for Chelsea, all off the bench, falls into obscurity and ends up in a no-mans land of a career. I'd suggest that's the smart money too. Could very easily be a crash back down to earth for him and his 'camp'. Chelsea have done this before, just taken players out of the game, so to speak, even if the benefit is to weaken other teams despite not improving their own. Perhaps a loan to a newly promoted side in Ligue 1 next season is on the cards? I'd laugh in that instance.

he was dumped by Arsenal, Chelsea and City as a youngster and was playing for a mediocre Reading when we picked him up. Hardly evidence of being told he's the most talented and beautiful youngster. Rather he's been told many times over that he's not good enough. He's also spoken about wondering whether he would make it after several rejections, and finding new confidence at a lower level with Reading. So none of those facts really fit your narrative. Only addition is that he was voted the championships young player of the season, and included in the championship team on the year. So was starting to get huge plaudits before we picked him up

With Chelsea having a bloated squad with many in that position. Could it be possible Olise is loanded back to us?

Despite all the plaudits Dougie gets it wasn’t difficult for anyone vaguely interested in football to spot that both Olise and Eze were tearing it up in their respective teams before we bought them.
