We are all entitled to our opinions . let the haters hate hate hate . Agree with CT - we all enjoy Willo from time to time ... and of course everyone has the right to an opinion. It's all good debate which is what we all want - free of abuse or needless rudeness. However, Willo, I think what some posters get riled by is: 1. Whenever you say you will remain quiet and refrain from posting on a subject - that's a guarantee for more and more posts on the same subject. 2. Arguably, you ARE an attention seeker and stirrer, yes !! ... and long may that continue !! 3. your ridiculous use of the English language diatribe vernacular - which kind of tries to make you seem above us mortals .. when really ... we can all do that if we try. Now feel free to call that humbug, hogwash, or whatever pre 1950's adjective you want ... but just remember, You're a Palace fan, you've been here forever ... and we all do love you deep down ...

To be fair to dazza, nothing has been decided yet so it's premature to tease him. Footballinsider is not exactly a proven font of knowledge Per oddschecker at 12.18 pm everyone is driftng in betting except Wilder. Originally posted by Davepalace707

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

What concerns me is that more we dither over the new manager, the less time we have to sort out the recruitment for the summer. Other clubs steal a march on any of our potential targets. It could be that the DoF sorts out the recruitment, but I'm not sure that any players are going to commit to a transfer until they know who the manager is going to be. I know there are people on here who don't want Lampard as manager (I am undecided - although his Chelsea connections could prove very beneficial), but his reputation as a player may well swing a players decision to come here, rather than someone like Dyche.

We have arrived at a very awkward predicament! We are effectively a comfortable mid table premiership team that hasn’t got funds to push on to the next step. Even if there is 50 million to spend in the summer, in the grand scheme of things that isn’t actually a lot. Everton and the likes spend that on one player and still can’t progress. For this reason I actually want Lampard as it may need someone who is an icon to persuade better players that Palace is the place for them, even then the ones with really quality will have to be loans.

Shame if Lamps is a non starter as to me he really could use us as a great project for his future career. Dyche ? I just can't warm to that .... Burnley not doing great. Id love see Lampard appointed and him bring JT in as his number 2 - wow that has potential

A lot of people (including myself) put Burnley as instant relegation contenders as soon as Dyche ups and leaves.

My riposte was as follows : "With respect, I am under the opinion that the comments which you have attributed to me were made some time ago, probably back in March!" When I witnessed the diatribe and barbs my initial reaction was the nickname of Northampton Town FC. You said the same at 23.07 last night . . . I dismiss your 'Charges' out of hand and will make NO further comment or respond to any of your brickbats as I really don't wish to provide them with the oxygen of publicity.Any further barbs shall go unanswered.
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
