I know this stuff is ‘cheap’ but it’s pretty disgusting and there are lots of healthier alternatives.

If that's true the building game will be boosted and any closed offices will be open for business again. That tiny, annoying little bit of land has some appeal.

Definitely good news. Be interesting to know whether there's any inkling amongst the FS industry that they are expecting the UK to reduce taxes/regulation at all to make it more competitive.

Well tbh I cant see why not. A little bit of a lot can be a lot more than a big bit of a little. That's easy for me to say

I would imagine it would be a whole host of factors. Easier to hire/retain staff if you have a UK presence, fears about the EU over-regulating, a sense that you still need to access to the areas that the UK FS sector specialise in. I wonder, and acknowledge a bias here, if this vaccine narrative has hit home with a lot of people? That the UK has proven how it can react faster to a changing situation than the EU? Tangible evidence that a UK no longer beholden to Brussels can adapt to circumstances in a way that the 27 EU member states cannot? Problem is that none of us can truly judge the impact of Brexit for at least 18 months or so. And we are all guilty, to various degrees, of seizing upon anything that helps us back up our own views on it. Willing to acknowledge that.

Sad to see the ventolin distributors up-sticks and depart to Barcelona due to brexit making their trade impossible. Littlehampton is not exactly a jobs area. Their manager heart-broken to lay them off etc. but that's going to be the norm and nobody can sat it is anything but self-inflicted. And many now facing closure, re-location or job cutting are the small entrepreneurs that Thatcher and the tories championed.

And Labour and the general left didn't. Now the Tories are left wing as well and couldn't give a monkey's as long as the house prices don't fall. It's all about state control of your life.....wear the mask, think what we want you to think and enjoy the life we allow you to live. Can't complain about it now....especially as the Greens are this times two. Edited by Stirlingsays (23 Feb 2021 3.40pm)
