I just can’t keep explaining the same thing over and over again, it’s utterly wearisome. You obviously are never going to change your point of view so it’s a pointless dialogue. Let’s see what happens over the next couple of weeks and don’t forget to send your letter of disgust off to Les Ferdinand explaining how racist he is. Again, imagine getting racist abuse all the time and wearisome that must be in comparison. It's so tough for you isn't it having it highlighted to you all time. Did you read Les Ferdinand's statement? It's the means not the cause he has issue with. QPR more than most clubs have taken huge strides to improve opportunities for black people at their club.

BLM did NOT start "taking the knee". Colin Kaepernick did. That's the historical start and the players are merely supporting the tide of opinion that swept around the world. It wasn't George Floyd's history that created this movement. It was the way he died. People were outraged and sufficiently motivated to do something about it. That people like you don't get that is regrettable but kind of predictable. So, football teams are taking a knee to prevent violent criminals being accidentally killed in America? It all makes perfect sense now. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (08 Dec 2020 3.02pm)

Half of most teams are Black in a country where only a few percent of the population are Black. The idea that Black people are discriminated against in a results driven industry is nuts. You employ the person who is likely to be successful.

Thanks for taking the time to reply I like to be asked a sensible question and sometimes to have reasoned debate, so thank you. I have to say I thought I would get hit by the usual accusations of being biased against White English people. It has been refreshing that most people see that the logic is more nuanced and in fact do understand why organisations take action in this area.

One would politely suggest that racism in the first place is far more divisive than an anti-racist gesture lasting a few seconds before a football match. you banging on about racism again ? like a broken record. i do not recall ever seeing you on HOL during a Palace game. You should try it sometime.

Believe I'm a hypocrite all you want, even though what you have said is a huge twisting of fact, but there's only one side on this coming out badly. Not really, you are riddled in it. And you have the gall to point at others. Go and stick your Stormzy tunes on.

Is it or is it, as several have been trying to point out, a demonstration against the support of BLM? I don’t know why all of them booed, neither do you. We can all surmise. Again I will stress, so please try to take this on board, most on here are supporting some sort of anti-discrimination ( note discrimination not just racism) gesture but, whether you and certain others on here like it or not, taking the knee is aligned with support of BLM Edited by Spiderman (08 Dec 2020 3.40pm)
