I read Argentinian steakhouse? All speculation at this stage.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

News Now reporting from a couple of sources that the deal is done.. i havnt put the link in but if its true we will probably start a fire sale. Wilf, Benteke, Sorloth although he's as good as gone and maybe Meyer. High earners off the payroll. I’m now not so sure Wilf is going anywhere - he played and scored last night against Oxford - plus many social media pictures of him in the new kit. On from that nothing in terms of potential suitors or bids - and Wilf himself quiet on wanting to leave - complete reversal from last summer..!!! Perhaps we are seeing a refreshing of the squad with Wilf in those/our plans going forward. As we all know to our pains we have spent “diiddly squat” over the last 2 years in terms of investment in/on the first team squad. So maybe we are now clear of the repayments of the ridiculous fees paid for the likes of Benteke, Sakho etc.. Then with the AWB money perhaps there are funds available. In which case a forward line of; Eze - CAM Is a very exciting prospect..!! Time will tell..!! COYP

Heard the council are pedestrianising Norwood High St just like the Ramblas in Barcelona.

If we do actually pay the full £19.5m for Eze then it makes him roughly the 12th most expensive export from the championship. Bear in mind Nathan Ake was sold this year to City for 40m which is officially a Championship club selling...there are a few examples of players getting relegated and then being sold for high fees that might have slipped under your radar. 5 out of that top 10 had prem experience which is important because I presume you were thinking more along the lines of fees for “championship” players. So this fee does put him in the top 10 in that respect but even then it doesn’t give us a true indication...because values go up every year. I don’t think we should compare £19.5m this year to £19.5m 10 years ago. Edited by Hudsoneagle (26 Aug 2020 5.03pm) I may have underestimated what Championship players go for. So long as he bangs some goals in and makes some chances I'm happy with the £16m plus deal. If we end up selling him for £30m we have to pay £6m to rangers presumably, or maybe just 20% of the profit? who knows

Amazing signing but that 20% clause is a little annoying.. We've had the same thing with Wilf over the last couple of years.. Thats a large chunk of profit lost when we do inevitably sell him on.

The beautiful game podcast on Twitter says: Eberechi Eze will complete his Crystal Palace medical tomorrow. Personal terms agreed. He will sign a 4 year deal with an extra 1 year extension option. Announcement soon✍🏾🤝🔜 🔴🔵🦅 #CPFC #QPR Don't know their reliability though.

Let’s hope it’s 20% of anything over and above what we paid. That’s normally the case. If we sell him on for 40m QPR would pick up 4m and we’d pocket 36m...on the assumption we had by this point paid them 20m total to sign him. Edited by Hudsoneagle (26 Aug 2020 6.55pm)

We are just about to sign a fantastic football talent and the first thing some fans do is find a negative and cry about a sell on clause. Lord above in heaven give me strength!
