His goal was superb, all his own work and his workrate second to none. Really pleased for him and us.

He scored some nice goals for Ghana in the Afcon.

Really pleased for him. Looking really sharp now. Excellent close control, hold up play and linking other players in. Now adding goals to his game. He could be this seasons star man. Imagine saying that last season. Main thing I love about him is his commitment and desire.

Its just great to see a player go flat out for the cause isn't it

Yes, great to see, and he seems a humble man, not billy big b***ocks

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Great to see his commitment and he is not short of skill either. Tears in his eyes when he scores and on the verge of killing someone when he gets taken off. That will do for me.

I don't think he's ever been a favourite at any club he's been at. If we get behind him this could be the start of something beautiful.

When he came off on Saturday he had to leave the pitch in front of the Holmesdale and got a great round of applause from the Holmesdale and Main Stand as he walked around to the dugout.Lovely for him and richly deserved.

Ayew went past the much lauded Mings easily.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Is there a chance that his transformation and desire could rub off on his good mate Benteke? There were a couple of glimpses when Benteke came on of effort and he even had a half decent shot. Or is this just wishful thinking?
Ayew has got way better ball control, better dribbler way more fight and desire. And it was for everyone to see what happens when you give your heart to Palace. To have your name ringing around the whole stadium must be the ultimate feeling for a pro that really takes you to new levels.
Can you imagine if Benteke started performing like Ayew albeit in his own style?

An A.Villa supporter that I know was telling me how abject Ayew was when he was at his club.

In contrast he said Benteke did really well in an A.Villa side which never performed that well and that he would have Benteke back at his club in a heartbeat.Don't think A.Villa finished higher that 15th when Benteke was there.

I do think that Benteke would be far suited to a side like Burnley who play more direct football.
