At this juncture I don't have any information apropos Wickham's assist record. In terms of him playing alongside another striker, I really don't know if he has played many,if any, games in this system. At Sunderland in the 13/14 season when he scored 15 goals, the strikers at the club at that time included Fletcher,Altidore,Borini and Watmore. At Sunderland he did play games out on the left but don't know how often he was deployed in this role.

Following seasons he scored 5 in 36 in the top level, then 5 in 21, then he became injured for 600 days.. By now, his level is probably League One-Championship. Yes, once in a while he is going to contribute, especially with headers setting up others and being a target man, cause he's very tall and strong. But nothing much better than Benteke or other injury prone Andy Carrol. Calling Wickham a 15-20 goal a season striker if he's not injured is just.....wrong. He has 15 goals in the PL in 3 seasons before his injury (5 a season) and 3 goals since the 16/17 season, so 18 goals in total, in more than 100 matches. The man cannot be a 15-20 goals A SEASON scorer.

That is interesting as he averages 1 goal every three whole matches despite his injury problems. I’d never have guessed that.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

These give a description of what could be a decent player , that has only ever been playing for or helping out clubs doing less than well..

Well according to some on here apparently he can!

The amount of times Zaha plays a lovely ball across oppositions boxes must hold out some hope for a player like Wickham and us as fans watching.

Are you saying he averages a goal every 3 full matches as in 1 goal every 270 minutes?? If you show me 3 Premier League strikers poorer than that (you can search them everywhere, but Benteke aside ), I'll gladly bow my head in shame. 270 minutes is a lousy period to have 1 goal on average.
