So, very basically, what you are saying is that once the law is involved, law that has been determined by others, then our own thought processes, our own judgements, must take a back seat and must be deemed to be non-consequential and intellectually inferior. Well you conform even if something is wrong if you want to. Not for me. Baaaaa. Baaaa now your talking my kind of language Kermit

Well you conform even if something is wrong if you want to. Not for me. Baaaaa. Not really.....You should have your own opinion and be able to voice it. I'm a passionate believer in that. The law has to represent both parties in any case and be even with the rights of both at least in most cases where their are two arguments. If the actions of someone give the authorities the belief that violence may be realistically possible then I do agree that action is valid. This happens now and is also why I believe in action against people on watch lists after review with a judge....which isn't perfect but probably the only practical way anything could ever be done to reduce a list that is just going to get bigger and bigger....That said this is just my view. But the marketplace of ideas should protect your right to hold ideas. The only ideas that should be hunted are ideas that seek to destroy the society itself...or libel, violence, obscenity....but drawing the bar as low as we can.
