Todays first download is a set by Curtis Knight & The Squires which features a certain Jimi Hendrix. This is a show that was recorded in Hackensack, New Jersey on 26th December 1965. For a bootleg thats nearly 50 years old this is in superb quality. The band start off with Curtis Knight asking Jimi what he's going to play tonight and he replies "A little number called "Drivin' South" - and jimi lets rip. Even this early Jimi shows his potential - some amazing guitar work - and it was obvious, even then - that he was destined to go on to bigger things.... If you like Jimi this is a must have for your collection - thoroughly recommended..... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at Georges Club 20, Hackensack,NJ 26.12.65 - Curtis Knight & The Squires with Jimi Hendrix (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. Driving South 7:27 Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 165MB (Including Artwork) The Band Members : Enjoy! Attachment: Jimi Hendrix with Curtis Knight - Hackensack NJ 65.jpg (136.02Kb)

Todays second download is a set by former Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne that was recorded at the Festival Of Rock, Donnington UK 1984. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This is only a 6 song show - so probably not the whole set - rather only what was broadcast. If you like Ozzy - then grab this one - it rocks!..... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at the Festival Of Rock, Donnington 18.8.84 - Ozzy Osbourne (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 I Don't Know Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 43.2MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!

Hi staffie Hope you can help. I'm after an early album by Eric Clapton from 1975 called "There's One in Every Crowd". You've posted a lot of Clapton stuff over the years but I can't find this one anywhere. Thanks in anticipation.

Morning staffie, I hope you are well. I'd be grateful if you could put your bloodhound nose on and try to sniff the following album out for me. It might be a tall order as it's only a digital release but is available on most of the paying download sites. Artist: Kid Kasio Here's hoping and as always absolutely no rush. cheers Edited by wayne80 (28 Feb 2012 9.29am)
Rachid Harkouks passport was lost in the post ......Honest. Team of the 80's, well we were for a few months in the autumn of 1979... |
