Not what I see here but whatever, polls either way have been found to be uneven.

It is there!

You are cherry-picking stats as usual. You cannot look at a poll in one state and extrapolate that to a national result.

Look at the national poll on June 3rd, which shows Biden 2 points ahead of Trump. That's before the latest indictments of course.

Either way looking at the amount of polled adults it is literally a straw poll. Like asking me and you if we think illegal immigrants should go home asap.

Wasn't cheery picking....it's genuinely hard to find an accurate picture.

If it's true that Biden is two points ahead then he's two points ahead.

As long as elections are fair then people get what they vote for.

The political parties don't see it like that. As they are regarded as generally accurate to within a few % either way of the national mood they can alter what they do. Moods can change of course.

I think most people would agree that illegal immigrants should not be here in the first place.

It's impossible to find an accurate picture until polling day, but knowing how people are thinking now is both interesting and instructive. It really isn't hard to do that, and what you originally said was wrong.

No, what I originally said was a Washington post and NBC poll, and there's nothing wrong with a state poll....two actually. I just missed that it wasn't national like the WP one.

Of course, there's nothing wrong with a state poll. Provided you make it clear that's all it is. What you wrote was:-

"Even on progressive polls like the ABC/WaPo poll Trump has a 7 point lead on Biden."

Which left the impression that Trump was ahead of Biden by 7 points nationally and not just in one state.

As far as I'm aware that poll was national.

What I will say is how accurate the polls are, regardless of who leads are up for debate.

Right, have to go.

Quite an even handed take on Trump.

How can anything from Spiked be even-handed? It's hardly politically neutral, is it?

Just reading their description of the Durham report is enough to confirm their biased approach as it makes assertions that have no factual basis at all.

Spreading the idea that prosecuting Trump has an element of political interference, when there is not a shred of evidence that is actually true, only serves to further undermine people's confidence in the rule of law and is a disservice to democracy.

No one is above the law and everyone has the right of due process and a defence. If Trump is guilty it will be because the law judges him to be. Not because his political opponents want him to be.

I forgot they're on the proscribed list.

They aren't but to suggest they will approach any story in an even-handed way would be similar to suggesting that either the Mail, or the Guardian, deals with issues without spinning them to suit the agendas of their target readership.
