No what is disgusting is finding forms of words to justify the mutilation of children. Frequently these are autistic children growing up around very liberal parents who are going through stages where they feel disconnected....something very common with autism. The idea that they are born into the wrong body is a complete nonsense and pure ideology. Your usage of the word, 'professionals' tries to justify this. In reality what you are referring to are just the far left in medical jobs who agree with carrying this out. To present it as an appeal to authority is rather ignorant of history. The Nazis and many regimes all over the world all had 'professionals' willing to both carry out their ideologies and find words to defend them. For example you can find 'professionals' who agree with euthanasia and are carrying that out in Canada and likewise 'professionals' who are strongly against it. So I regard your attempt to appeal to authority for these mutilations insidious. It's trying to portray the idea that some accepted consensus exists once someone gains a qualification in a field.....when the truth is that any regime will always have enough 'professionals' to carry out whatever policies they promote. The bell will tolls on this....as it's not accepted by the mainstream...again disproving your claim to be in the centre. Edited by Stirlingsays (29 May 2023 10.14am) Which is why we need anything that's done controlled under strictly applied guidelines and regulations, and appropriately supervised. That you seek to taint those involved with another of your "far-left" slurs says so much more about you than ever it does about them. You clearly don't regard gender dysphoria as a real thing with your "The idea that they are born into the wrong body is a complete nonsense and pure ideology." The nonsense is entirely yours. It's only too real and you are allowing your personal distaste and lack of experience to speak, rather than defer to those who actually understand these things. For sure there will be greater control and regulation to ensure irreversible mistakes are not made, but this is something that, once recognised, cannot be unseen.

The money men didn't seem particularly worried about the debt ceiling situation, since it's been raised more than 100 times previously they were sure it would be again but the problem is that when they keep increasing the limit that it will become unsustainable.

But no, The Atlantic Declaration is about another different pair of total c-units. [Link] The Atlantic Declaration would allow British electric car firms access to new US green tax credits and subsidies, steps up co-operation on AI and includes a data protection deal." (BBC website)

What a surprise! No one thinks it's newsworthy that Trump has been formally charged over the retention of official documents and faces possible prison time. Who would have thought this could happen to this paragon of virtue? Maybe charging him over his Russian connections won't be required?

The Democrats weaponise the legal system and once the Republicans get in the Biden crime family and others will get it too. It's a nonsense, all presidents and lower officials keep papers as Biden was only found out a while back. Pure double standards that further divide the country.....but I predicted this long ago....the country can't be fixed.

The Biden administration and its corrupt institutions have no credibility and are only making Trump stronger, as the polls show. Even on progressive polls like the ABC/WaPo poll Trump has a 7 point lead on Biden. As I actually would prefer DeSantis it's annoying. Edited by Stirlingsays (10 Jun 2023 2.29am)

Pure double standards that further divide the country.....but I predicted this long ago....the country can't be fixed. The law applies to everyone. I don't see any Democratic involvement at all. You, of course, do because you see it in everything you dislike. This is justice working it's way through due process, nothing else. If others have committed offences worthy of charges, let them be charged. I have no issues at all with that. The scale of what Trump is alleged to have done, and what was found, and how it was found, in Biden's case is markedly different. One deserved a full investigation and the charges which followed. The other a request for a tightening up of procedures. Trump has kept and shown to those without security clearance papers concerning nuclear secrets, alongside others of similar importance. He has taken them deliberately and obstructed the FBI in their task of finding them. Biden's team made a mistake and retained things inadvertently. Chalk and cheese.

I just checked several betting websites and all have Biden well ahead. Perhaps they know something the polls aren't revealing. Like a candidate facing trial maybe? Bookies are rarely wrong. The latest polls also show Biden ahead, if he runs against Trump, but not by so much. If he runs against DeSantis it's an even race.

Not what I see here but whatever, polls either way have been found to be uneven.
