Todays first download is a set by Family that was recorded at a bbc session in 1971. For a bootleg that's over 40 years old - this is in superb quality with the audio being taken from an FM broadcast of the session. Family are a great band, but very few good quality bootlegs are available - so when I saw this, I immediately grabbed it. I am so glad I did as it's without doubt the best Family bootleg I've heard. This is great stuff with some classic tracks being played like "In My Own Time" and "The Weaver's Answer". This is thoroughly recommended. Todays first download is a set by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young that was recorded for VH1 Storytellers. This is in superb quality and is a wicked soundboard recording. In January of 2000 CSNY toured together for the first time in over 25 years. On the 18th of February, they visited Hollywood studios to film an episode of VH1 Storytellers - where artists perform in front of a small audience. This is the whole set of 9 songs from the show - and if you like CSNY - this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Porcupine Tree that was recorded in Tel Aviv in November 2000. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I've posted a few bootlegs by this band in the past - as well as a few studio albums. This band rock and are great live. If you like PT - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a short set by Jethro Tull that was recorded at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1986. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an fm broadcast of the show. Only a short set, so I don't think this is the whole show - more likely edited radio highlights. Still, it sounds top notch and JT play some great tracks - ending with the classic "Aqualung". If you like JT's style of prog rock - this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set featuring Thunder And Lightning that was recorded in San Francisco's Chi Chi club in 1984. This band were a blues rock project featuring John Cippolina and Nick Gravenites and were sometimes called the Gravenites Cippolina Band. This is fantastic stuff - and the quality is unbelievable... absolute pin drop perfect sound with fantastic stereo. The show is nearly 3 hours long - and it's all here... this is thoroughly recommended. When downloading as a free user there will be a delay between downloads - but don't be put off - grab this one!....
