This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I think he played ok. Both last week and yesterday was mediocre imo, for him. I suppose I could be reading to much into it but does look right to me. Doesn’t look happy, body language not right yesterday and gave up on more than one occasion. What I don’t get is it’s one thing to be annoyed and upset that your agent didn’t get you a move but what can Parish and the club do if we only got a max bid of £52m from Everton? No one offered even close to the money- what was he expecting, us to just accept it coz no one else offered more? Anyway I do hope he stays, a reported £100m bid from PSG will test palace though.. hope he stays until the summer. Edited by MonsterMunch (25 Aug 2019 10.16am)

PSG would be great for Wilf. Low grade football every week, the Champions League football he wanted, rolled out in the last 16, and massive wages. He will disappear off the radar, consumed by a young man’s greed and badly influenced by the hangers on that surround him. He blew his international chance, and is now compromising the rest. Would be very rich though, sad thing is, he is already. You seriously think this ?, he’s what 27 has a young family and have never shown any Puncheon or Neymar type of antics. He didn’t blow his International chance Southgate blew it. He’s been at Palace for a decade and has played a huge part of not only putting us and keeping us in this league but may also bring in 100m with another big £ transfer we will benefit from. It would be great to see him perform in the CL with PSG and not waste his talent at the likes of Everton. Good luck to him if he goes to France and I’ll book a place on the Eurostar to see him play.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle I don't imagine PSG fans would be too pleased if they replaced Neymar (51 goals in 58 games) with Zaha. He doesn't look quite back in the zone yet, but he's a player who wears his heart on his sleeve, so that's no surprise to me. The reality is, however, that in games against the big guns he rarely has much of a look in and is really there to generate what little threat we can muster. Yesterday he was heavily involved in the second goal. He was poor last week, but in fairness so was everyone else. I expect more from him next week though, and if not maybe he needs a spell on the bench to get his head back in the game. To me patience and an arm round his shoulders is what is needed, as that has always shown to bring the best out in him.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Every club, below the top 10 on the planet, is a selling club. if we get big money in January after Wilf got us a ton of points on the boards, then all is good. he is too good for Arsenal, Everton, etc and will not win any silverware with those eejits. PSG is a good fit. He already speaks fluent french. Edited by PalazioVecchio (25 Aug 2019 11.38am)

Don't see why PSG would offer 100 mil when we wanted 80 mil. Because the PL window is closed so there would need to be a premium factored in

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle It would be a significant loss if indeed it happens before a replacement is lined up for Wilf. I presume that is why the potential offer quoted is so high?

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Could be some agent bro bullsh1t like before, which doesn’t make sense really. The only reason I can think of for doing that would be an attempt to make it look like Parish and Cpfc have stood in his way to mount pressure on to let him leave in January when there is actually a bid made by someone. They’d look stupid yet again if PSG said there’s no bid like there was no increase over £52 mil by Everton. If it’s true we will accept it and plod on until January. Risky, but we will do it. We want him sold and for the maximum amount. We then extend Benteke and everything is rosy. Or not!

As you say more than likely nonsense but I reckon if the bid came in they would seriously consider it. They could think that in Max and Camarasa they could plug the gap until January. High risk mind..

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle Zaha didn't look interested yesterday. Didn't do much defensively either - i'd love him to stay but if you can't get up for a game at Old Trafford then maybe best to let him go if the PSG offer is any good. Personally thought i'd never say that!
