I re-iterate for the umpteen time that I am far more self-deprecation than self-promotion. There are those who simply cannot stomach the fact, that on occasions, I am right. So let's get back to the subject matter shall we ?

Just seen that FDB has only ever managed in Holland. Thought he may have plied trade elsewhere for a bit. Will he be able to shake the Ajax tag at Palace? Hopefully for good reasons it will be a yes. Positives are the level of player we could attract with him in charge, this could compensate a lack of knowledge outside of Holland. Bit nervous about this one now, its just not very Palace like, it does show however that we are evolving plus I love the idea of him bringing through more youth players (this will have been a big factor in Parish's choice in my opinion). Out of interest who was the last foreign Palace manager? I cannot think of any in my time supporting. Nothing to be feared mind you, we are located in a highly diverse multicultural area and quite like adopting the continental chants too! No - He managed 'Inter Milan' but was sacked after 85 days.

Why don't you stop talking about yourself for one minute and obey what you keep patronisingly telling the rest of us.... and get back to the thread. Eh ? I have lost count of the times where I have urged people to get back to the subject matter and NOT turn it into yet another tedious WILLO thread. So can we please heed the message in the paragraph above. Many thanks.

Antonio Conte never managed outside of Italy until he took over at Chelsea and he seems to have done OK
