Just seen that FDB has only ever managed in Holland. Thought he may have plied trade elsewhere for a bit. Will he be able to shake the Ajax tag at Palace? Hopefully for good reasons it will be a yes. Positives are the level of player we could attract with him in charge, this could compensate a lack of knowledge outside of Holland. Bit nervous about this one now, its just not very Palace like, it does show however that we are evolving plus I love the idea of him bringing through more youth players (this will have been a big factor in Parish's choice in my opinion). Out of interest who was the last foreign Palace manager? I cannot think of any in my time supporting. Nothing to be feared mind you, we are located in a highly diverse multicultural area and quite like adopting the continental chants too!

I know that, hardly counts though especially given the circumstances re Chinese consortium bowling their way in.
