The only political persecution going on here is from the sycophant Taylor Greene, who is little more than a Trump mouthpiece, hoping for a boost to her career.

If these "protestors" are truly innocent then that's what their defence team will be able to prove to a jury.

What like your 'believe all women' jury in New York.

Yeah sorry, those Democrats better believe they can 'vote harvest' another election because if the GOP get in....who themselves are useless....the Democrats are going to reap what they sowed when it comes to the courts.

Biden has been a old fool....Then again he always was a fraudster for hire, now he's just a frail, pathetic and damaging one. Everything he has touched has been a disaster.

A jury in DC would be no more partisan than in NYC.....hang on

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I see no reason at all why those who participated in the events at the Capitol Building should not be prosecuted. They ought not to have been there. Protesting outside is legal. Forcing an entry is not. They will have every opportunity to prove their innocence. If you don't trust the justice system to deliver a fair hearing then we are seeing more evidence of the way malign influences are sowing distrust in institutions.

Which is something that appears to have infected you very badly. Your constant belittling of Biden being a good example. Only today I listen to opinions on the "Infrastructure Bill", for which the Biden administration has achieved bi-partisan support. It was given a lot of praise for its vision and commitment to develop the US economy to serve the needs of the future. They are miles ahead of us.

Not bad for a frail, pathetic old fool who is also a fraudster.

You always though find it difficult to accept that sometimes the wisdom of age outweighs any physical disadvantages.

Would have thought the potential damage of the debt ceiling not being raised is more important.

This nicely sums up good and evil for me and the separation between the globalistic control agenda and those who can instinctively smell the evil within it....just spotted the swear word on the image, apologies.

Trans activists in early February illegally occupied and protested within the Oklahoma State Capitol building.

No political persecution.

No one shot a protestor.

One side are called insurrectionists/criminals and the murder of a woman defended. Whereas when the progressives storm a political building they are protected and nothing happens to them.

This post neatly sums up those who believe in conspiracy theories, like a "globalistic control agenda", and those who believe in the reality of the modern world.

Not by me!

Anyone attempting to take direct action, or act illegally, deserves to be punished, whatever their "cause".

There is though a huge difference in scale. One was at State level regarding the rights of a particular group. The other was at the very heart of US government and an attempt to overturn a democratic vote, using violence and intimidation.

The two events are not directly comparable in any way. No woman was "murdered"! That's simply rightist propaganda that seeks to justify the actions of a mob. A participant lost her life. The incident that caused this was investigated and the defender involved was cleared of any wrongdoing. No charges, let alone of murder, were laid.

Once again it seems that too much bs from the right in the USA is being spoonfed into certain willing mouths in the UK.

The situation has become overly politicised but since the debt ceiling has been increased over 100 times in the past you'd think it will be resolved.
The consequences of defaulting would be dire - estimates are that defaulting for a week would cost 1.5m jobs. Any longer and the world's economy would be in trouble.

Whether it happens now or sometime later, I take no pleasure in knowing we are all going to have face the music.

Not that we are the ones at fault for the music selection.
