That's not what anyone is suggesting! New Keynesian economics. Look it up. Fine, as long as you let price, profit and loss, supply and demand operate. It is not possible to plan an economy in any real sense of the word.
We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men. [Orwell] |

I remember while discussing economics with a university professor of mine, he said economics is interesting...."when you past you O-level you are told to ignore everything for A -level, and when you get to university you can guess what you are told about A -levels.
"Everything is air-droppable at least once." "When the going gets tough, the tough call for close air support." |

Perhaps the economics expert can explain how the Wall Street Crash or Black Wednesday occurred in his world of economic certainty. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (11 Jun 2017 7.24pm)

The Survation poll, conducted for the Mail on Sunday, shows a swing of eight points in Labour’s favour since the general election on 8 June. Not a fan of opinion polls but momentum clearly with labour and Jeremy in particular.

The negative connotations surrounding an 'X' in the Labour candidates box must have diminished for plenty others too who didn't vote for him. Plus, May has been outed for the inept liability she is for everyone now to see. If he holds his nerve and there is an election in October and Tories in a mess still I reckon he just might do it.

Overturning a 56 seat majority still needs one hell of a swing. I doubt Labour have it in their locker. It'll just be another hung Parliament.

Have you learnt nothing for the past few days? You are right, of course, it is highly unlikely but never say never in these political times. He's on a roll.
