Nige's call to arms today... "If the people of this country think that they're going to be cheated, they're going to be betrayed, then we will see political anger, the likes of which none of us in our lifetimes have ever witnessed."
Edited by Kermit8 (06 Nov 2016 4.49pm) The loon seems to be under the impression that a massive majority voted Out and are being oppressed by an elite minority. As opposed to the 52-48 split. Inviting a civil war. Madness. Was rather hoping he might go into the jungle and get bitten by a snake or something. Sadly he's apparently ruled that out.

If you've seen the maps, the amount of constituencies that voted out vs the number of MPs in them that voted remain mean they will bite their lips to save their jobs. Not that I trust them to not delay it long enough to try and get a u-turn but when it's their jobs on the line they'll 'respect the referendum' result. Given half the chance they wouldn't.

Well if Parliament does get this they can debate and clarify things that are just not understood and otherwise will be forced through by the dictator. So there's something positive they can do. Whether brexit means anything practical that people in businesses can deliver is another matter it is undeliverable until everything is signed off.

The hyperbole that NF is coming out with is rather silly, though. He's served his purpose; now it's time to retire quietly.

In awe that the pound had its best week since 2009 and some Brexiteers STILL think Brexit is good. The stupidity of those who still stand by their vote to leave is hilarious.

It all goes to show that as a nation we (the UK) now couldn't organise a pi$$ up in a brewery. Perhaps we're better off in Europe where we're told what to do?
