Littering our motorway hard shoulders and all. If you’ve saved £105 in a year you break even on the increase in your food bill due to Brexit. But not all the other stuff.

interesting from the tory leader of the commons, Penny Mordaunt. Penny Mordaunt has given a damning assessment of the state of the UK, where she said many people feel things do not work for them and the poorest think the system is rigged against them, arguing that democracy and capitalism are hanging in the balance.

I've been on them for 48 years and I'm 6'4" so maybe the stunting is just as well.

Well considering you have never supported Democracy nor capitalism I suspect this makes you a rather enthusiastic supporter of the current direction. Personally, politically, I regard Penny Mordaunt as awful.

Ah, clearly you have seen those Brexit benefits. Do enlighten us. The key one is being able to elect the people that make the laws that govern us.

Only the French could design a car that is made of paper and looks like an overturned pram, and then sell it to to the British.

If you don't think a UK government's laws improve your lot , then you can vote for another potential government. When in the EU, if you didn't think their laws improved your lot, you could do nothing about it. Also, it is of course nonsense to say that US and EU law governs us as much as UK laws.

Exit the EU This will be the game with Brexit over the next few years - a slow shift in narrative to blaming the government's inability to deliver the Brexit people expected, rather than any problem with Brexit itself. The media will allow this to happen, and in fact will be huge facilitators of it, but we will never collectively have an acceptance or an admission that it was just a flawed idea to begin with. Leavers have won every vote since the referendum - all the prominent members of the Vote Leave campaign have had their chance to deliver, and none have been able to. There is no government capable of delivering a good 'Brexit'. I'd recommend to anyone going back and watching some of the Vote Leave adverts which you can still find out on Youtube - it could not be further from the reality of how it's played out. Project Fear.
