We'll make no signings and when the deadline arrives and passes Parish will say that there were some technical difficulties that made it impossible to get the target signings over the line in time.

This is unduly pessimistic. We've already signed Lerma . Franca is (I hope) nearly over the line, and Wilf will probably stay, which I personally think is a positive. I am unfortunately a glass half full kinda guy ----
