Some chap on here who clearly does not like the cut of my jib has accused me of "Backtracking" on previous comments. My riposte was as follows : "With respect, I am under the opinion that the comments which you have attributed to me were made some time ago, probably back in March!" When I witnessed the diatribe and barbs my initial reaction was the nickname of Northampton Town FC. Alternatively, why not pass on any information you hear or opinions you may have on this open message board and simply ignore any cobblers - a word that I understand has now returned to its ordinary meaning of one who repairs shoes, handbags and leather accessories.

I have no idea who it will be and am both excited and wary of the new appointment. However as I previously said, it would be bad form to announce a new manager whilst Roy is still in situ imo Take your point there spider - there’s no doubt the club have handled his departure with absolute respect and a lot of class. The point I was tentatively suggesting was that there was little to prevent an announcement IF we had in fact an out of work manager lined up.

I do agree about Dyche but appointing him could be a protracted issue, I’m not sure we can afford to hang around. Unless he has already agreed of course

I think you have to look at the improvement from when he took over rather than where the club ended up. Academic as Europe if they think of us at all see us as a tuppence hapenny club operating out of a Nissan hut in a deeply unfashionable and peripheral part of outer London. Hiring this guy would require one hell of a patch. And we would have been done due diligence for a very long time and not just considered a name bandied about by a blogger hoping to make money.

I am in a tizzy on this thread. When people mention 'Frank' could they add his surname as another in the running is (Thomas) Frank (who I would prefer personally) and a possible if Brentford fail in play-offs. Also can be confused with the other, unlamented, Frank DB I have long been admirer of our dear cherished fossil, Willo (although I am actually older than him) but he does himself no favours by often saying he will refrain from further comment but very soon refutes himself by carrying on. Part of his charm perhaps but it is wearing a bit thin .... Here's another tip for manager: Steve Bruce.

OK I admit I have got some things wrong but only passing what I get told. We also know that some deals can change at the last minute does not mean we were not in talks or close to signing these players. I am only passing on what I got/get told & that is Frank will be the new manager. A lot of the press articles are done for click bait, the decision fir Roy to go was done weeks ago therefore the club have been working on this for weeks. They are just waiting till end of season to announce Frank as that is the right thing to do for Roy. If I’m wrong & info I have been past proves to be incorrect then I will apologise & will stop posting what I hear/get told going forward. I can’t be fairer than that. But to confirm again I have been told that Frank is the new manager & it’s a 3 year deal.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Not Dazza's fault if: 1. Agreement reached in principle that Lampard would sign a 3 year term and he withdrew / club prefer another; or 2. The article currently doing the rounds is scurrilous made-up paper talk.

Its not your fault these thing dont work out . Its prob Parrish dragging the bollix out of it trying to save an extra tenner a week . then the targets prob get fed up with it all and move on to another destination and who would blame them .
