This is all about local elections. A laughable attempt by Labour and the Leftist media to create some 'bad news' about Boris at a time when things are getting positive. Predictable, pathetic and utterly tedious.

There is so so much to hit Johnson with at the moment and yet Labour focus on trivialities? All because Labour are desperate to not lose Hartlepool. Think about that. Labour being seriously worried about losing a seat in Hartlepool. To the Tories. After the best part of 10 years of Conservative Party rule? This is desperate, desperate stuff. And with so much other crap to be thrown? The Tories must be secretly over the moon. They should not even be in with a sniff of winning in Hartlepool. And these local council elections should be, in any conventional political metric, see them losing hundreds of seats. Instead it will be considered a win for Starmer if he does not lose a constituency that has been Labour ever since it came into being and does not lose many local council seats. Come on. Lets take a step back here and examine what this political reality is now.

Edited by Spiderman (28 Apr 2021 3.15pm) Edited by Spiderman (28 Apr 2021 3.17pm) Definitely not, Johnson was squirming throughout. The source of the funds he used he has not been answered, everybody seems to know it was Lord B. There is already a public grant available to an incoming PM for refurbishment. Tory MPs want to know too, they are getting fed up with it all the time.

I thought Starmer, although i think has been a very poor shot recently with such an easy target as Boris, had his spectacles on today. The way he let Boris skip over the first question over who paid for the decorating, only to make it easy with multiple choice, A,B,C or D, priceless. Boris looked shaken, I think this could be the beginning of the end for him, with lots more to come out of Cummings apparently, popcorn time.

Still shame the Labour Party have nothing else to question him on, presumably they are more than happy with present Tory policies. BJ seemed confident that he has personally met the costs, we shall see. Edited by Spiderman (28 Apr 2021 5.26pm)
